History
Avenir Properties started trading in 1996 and is headed by local businessman Andrew Carnell, who started the business in the Harrogate area and has developed a number of smaller residential sites across the town. This then grew to larger and more complex developments across Yorkshire, often carrying out restoration and conservation work on listed buildings and in 2005 Avenir Properties won an award for the Best Restored Building by the Ripon Civic Soceity for converting a Chapel into 9 contemporary apartments whilst retaining many of the original features from the original building.
Since then Avenir has successfully developed several residential conversions and is also now heavily involved in large commercial developments in the Harrogate area. All the properties include the latest contemporary fixtures and fittings and high quality bathrooms and kitchens whilst still retaining the character of the original building. Avenir Properties works with a variety of residential properties from affordable accommodation for the first time buyer to high-end luxury developments for the discerning client. On the commercial side, Avenir have been involved in single office blocks to Warehouse conversions to large-scale office developments.
